SNORKELING TOUR & EXCURSIONS IN TULUM

Snorkeling is certainly one of the world’s most-accessible watersports. All you need to know is how to swim. We provide all the equipment (flippers, mask, snorkel, a flashlight and neoprene wetsuit for the cold if need be). Adults and kids will be able to benefit fully from the close proximity of the coral reef of Tulum and its rich aquatic fauna.

With Mexico Kan Tours, you can reserve a boat with our local captain, who will guide you to the most beautiful spots of the reef. This snorkeling tour includes a visit to 2 or 3 locations along the Tulum reef, a drink, boat transportation and sub-aquatic guidance with the captain.

You can also discover cenotes and the sacred Mayan underworld with a tour in the jungle, where you will see stalactites, stalagmites, columns, fossils and native fish as you experience an entirely new and incredible universe.

• Kayak and snorkel in Sian Ka'an, 120 US$
• 6 am: pick up at the hotel
• 6:30 am: kayak center
• 6:30-7 am: breakfast and coffee time
• 7 am: kayak on Caapechen lagoon
• 10:30 am: Back to base, relax time and snack on the beach, snorkeling in the Sian Ka’an reef or in a cenote (depending on weather).
• 12:30: back to the hotel.

Tour Program

• 7:30-9am: pick up at your hotel.
• Drive through coastal jungle 30 minutes until reaching our boat to continue the journey by water.
• We explore the Boca Paila Lagoon and the point where it connects with the Caribbean Sea (explanation of the ecology and history of the area, see the water springs and possibly manatees, enjoy some sand bank/beach time and snorkel in the reef.
• Explore Ascension Bay (visit some colonies of nesting birds such as frigates, spoonbills, egrets, herons and more, learn about the importance of mangroves, look for sea turtles, sea stars, dolphins and more).
• Arrive at our base in Punta Allen to enjoy a delicious Caribbean lunch and enjoy free time to walk or relax Caribbean style.
• 5:30-6pm: drop off at your hotel
